Dance and Movement Studies
The goal of the Dance and Movement Studies Department is to help students find and develop their own voices and identities through classes, workshops, projects, and productions that consider dance from creative, technical, historical, and scientific contexts.
The Senior Program
The Senior Program is a focused project, carried out under the close supervision of a faculty member. It draws together coursework and creativity, theory and practice. Each dance student choreographs and performs in an original work.
Recent projects in dance include:
- Define Feminine (film)
- A Family of Things
- And Now...
- Own Eyes, Midnight and Somewhere Between Love and Abuse
