Renee Heitmann is a critically acclaimed soprano, hailed for her “clear, beautiful, angelic” sound, dramatic delivery, and ability to breathe life into the roles she takes on.  She is a frequent guest of the Mid-Columbia Symphony and Mid-Columbia Mastersingers in Washington State, and often invited back to sing in the greater Yakima River Valley.

She has spent the last decade of her career in New York City working with private students of all ages and abilities, as well as leading a number of adult choirs.  She is knowledgeable in both the classical and music theatre worlds, and her experience as a director/producer as well as a performer gives her a well-rounded approach to teaching. She specializes in audition prep and real-world application, as many of her students go on to have professional career paths.

Renee currently resides in Syracuse, N.Y. with her two dogs and also teaches in the Performing Arts Department at SUNY Cortland.
