Allison Cardon
Visiting Assistant Professor of Literature & Creative Writing
Allison Cardon specializes in 18th and 19th century British literature. She earned her Ph.D. in English Literature from University at Buffalo, SUNY, in 2021, where she taught courses in literature and creative writing. She has since taught at Middlebury College and the College of Wooster. Her research investigates surprising relationships between literature and law—she is especially interested in contradictory conceptions of rights. She has published both peer-reviewed academic articles as well as public facing reviews, essays, and poetry in various online and print publications, including Tripwire and Fullstop.
