Josephine Orio
Teaching Fellow in French and Francophone Studies

Joséphine Orio is pursuing a master’s degree in English literature at the Sorbonne Nouvelle University in Paris, and is currently in the process of writing a dissertation on the theme of trauma in Runaway and Dear Life by the Canadian short story writer Alice Munro. She has also completed a two-year selective training in French literature, philosophy and history in a French “Classe Préparatoire” before completing her bachelor in English literature. Apart from her interest in English and French speaking literatures, Orio is also very interested in learning about Northern European cultures and languages, specifically about the Danish and German.
