Robert Redfield
Samuel F. Pratt Professor of Mathematics Emeritus (retired)
Robert Redfield came to Hamilton in 1986 having earned his bachelor’s degree from Reed College, a master’s degree from the University of Oregon and a doctorate from Simon Fraser University. Professor Redfield’s areas of expertise include lattice-ordered fields, rings and groups, vector lattices and ordered topological spaces. The author of several dozen papers, he has addressed audiences at numerous professional meetings and colloquia.
