Sanjay Moorjani
Visiting Assistant Professor of Economics
Sanjay Moorjani holds a Ph.D. in economics from Boston College an M.S. in quantitative economics from the Indian Statistical Institute, and B.Tech from the National Institute of Technology, Trichy, His research focuses on identification in macroeconomics to understand the causes and consequences of business cycle fluctuations and how policymakers can stabilize recessions. Moorjani’s approach emphasizes advancing macroeconometric methods to identify features of macro data that enhance the empirical credibility of dynamic stochastic general equilibrium (DSGE) models for structural identification and policy analysis.
