Vanessa Song
Visiting Assistant Professor of Chemistry
Yang (Vanessa) Song received her Ph.D. in chemistry from the University of Kentucky. Her work focuses on synthesis of small molecules for organic transistor and semiconductor applications, as well as synthesis of lignin model polymers for biomass upgrading. Prior to joining Hamilton, Song taught chemistry at Centre College, and her collaboration with the Center for Applied Energy Research led to three peer reviewed publications with undergraduate students. .
