Zachary Desjardins-Mooney
Visiting Assistant Professor of French & Francophone Studies
Zachary Desjardins-Mooney received his Ph.D. in French, with a certificate in comparative literature, from Columbia University in 2025. He specializes in twentieth-century French intellectual history and literature, with interdisciplinary interests in cinema, education, health humanities, psychiatry and psychoanalysis, and critical theory. Before joining Hamilton, Desjardins-Mooney taught at Columbia University and Vassar College.
