Drop in as a family to make a creative project inspired by The House of Chance and Mischief, a multimedia sculpture in the Wellin's collection by Renée Stout. Guided by Wellin docents, participants will look closely to decode and discuss the sculpture. Taking inspiration from the carnivalesque elements included in the artwork, such as game pieces and playing cards, each participant will have a chance to construct their own mini sculpture with a personalized theme using cardboard boxes, paint sticks, handmade clay ornaments, and other craft mate...

Professor Zhuoyi Wang presents Filmmaker Iris Yang and her film The Returning Tide: Thirty Years On. The screening is at 2 p.m. in the Bradford Auditorium, Kirner-Johnson 125, and is free and open to the public. Yang's film revisits the legacy of the Fourth United Nations World Conference on Women, held in Beijing in 1995, through the voices of more than twenty feminist activists across East Asia.
