Event Description

Chef Stephen Durfee '85 will provide a chocolate tasting and give us an insider's view of how chocolate is made and molded. Now a director of curriculum at Dandelion Chocolate, Stephen spent 21 years in a professorship at the Culinary Institute of America. He travels across the world to different cacao-producing regions, including Tanzania, Ecuador, Dominican Republic, and Hawaii, to lead trips, teach classes, and explore the world of chocolate. At Dandelion, he leads factory tours, instructs classes for chocolate enthusiasts, and acts as a chocolate ambassador through his demonstrations and outreach. This event is sponsored by the Class of 1985 and is open to all.
