Diner will give a talk titled, "THE JEWS' MANY PLACES IN AMERICA"

This talk looks at the historic encounters between Jews and America, in spatial terms but also in terms of where they found themselves, in relationship to where and how they made a living, and their encounters with other Americans, As the largest non-Christian group to settle in the United States, how did they explain who they were? How did they make their case for inclusion into the fabric of American life?
