  • The Old Print Gallery in Washington, D.C. will present a solo exhibition by Jake Muirhead '86 beginning Nov. 11 with an opening reception from 5-8 p.m. New Prints by Jake Muirhead will feature over twenty etchings, aquatints, and drypoints, exploring landscapes and the human figure. The show runs to Jan. 23, 2012.

  • Students in Hamilton’s Program in New York City recently attended a breakfast hosted by alumni at Citigroup, giving them a chance to informally connect with alumni in the industry.  Citi’s banking offices are located in Tribeca, not too far from Hamilton’s apartments in Battery Park City. The event was hosted by  alumni Jeffrey Schackner ‘89 and Peter Tague ‘88.

  • Sioni & Partners, an investment sales firm, announced that Zach Weiss '09 will join as an associate specializing in the investment sales of multi-family and commercial properties in downtown Manhattan.

  • Rezaan Daniels '07 and Erik Steiner '07 climbed Mount Kilimanjaro this April.  Located in Tanzania, Mount Kilimanjaro is the tallest mountain in Africa with a height of 19,341 feet above sea level.

  • Nathaniel R. Warner ’00 coauthored “Methane Contamination of Drinking Water Accompanying Gas-Well Drilling and Hydraulic Fracturing.”   The article, in which Warner and his coauthors examined the effects of natural gas collection on the water supply in Pennsylvania and New York, was published in Proceedings of the National Academy of Science.

  • Frank Anechiarico ’71, Maynard-Knox Professor of Government and Law, addressed the Northeast Conference on Public Administration on “The Ethical Implication of Government Outsourcing” at the conference's annual meeting in New York City on Oct. 29.

  • Creating sustainable urban centers in Utica and Syracuse was the topic of a panel discussion hosted by the Levitt Center on Oct. 27.
