  • Doug Lemov '90, managing director of True North Public Schools, will discuss how to put more students on the path to college in a lecture on Monday, Oct. 4, at 4:10 p.m., in the Red Pit, Kirner-Johnson Building. His presentation “Building Effective Schools: Lessons from High-Performing Schools," is free and open to the public. It is based on his book, Teach Like a Champion: Techniques that Put Students on the Path to College.

  • Eric Jackson-Forsberg ’90 provided insight into the design concepts of architect Frank Lloyd Wright during his talk on Reunions ’10 weekend. As the curator of the Martin House Complex in Buffalo, New York, Jackson-Forsberg has had the opportunity to study the numerous art glass windows or “light screens” that Wright designed specifically for this complex of Prairie structures and has interpreted them within the functional and stylistic context of the buildings.

Zucker has been the president of Auto Club Speedway, the track that hosts the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series, since 2005, and is the first female president of the track.
