  • Hamilton’s co-ed a capella group Duelly Noted was a big winner at the nearby Turning Stone Resort and Casino on Nov. 17, but their win took place on the stage, not at the slot machines or gaming tables. The group took home first place in Turning Stone’s “A Capella Showdown,” winning $2500 in the competition.

  • Whenever there is a medical emergency on the Hamilton College campus, student EMTs are always the first-responders.  The Hamilton College Emergency Medical Services (HCEMS) team consists of 25 students from varied backgrounds and interests.  This week marks the National Collegiate Emergency Services Foundation’s National Collegiate EMS week, during which Hamilton recognizes the efforts of its student EMTs.

  • On Oct. 23, the Hamilton College Program in Washington students had the privilege of meeting with Representative Richard Hanna. He represents New York’s 22nd district, which includes Hamilton College.

  • Hamilton College students, alumni and business experts joined forces Oct. 25-27 for the fourth annual Pitch Competition. The weekend-long event is always highly anticipated among the College’s young business professionals and features an entrepreneurship workshop, networking opportunities and business-mentoring services all offered by seasoned entrepreneurs and investors.

  • During the spring semester of her junior year, Emma Laperruque ’14 went to a place few students go: the basement kitchens of the Soper Commons Dining Hall.
