• Digital Scholarship Librarian Sara Mohr has been awarded a 2024 Emerging Open Scholarship Award from the Canadian Social Knowledge Institute for her digital project Where is the Cuneiform?

  • Sara Mohr, digital scholarship librarian, has been elected vice chair for a three-year term of the Institute for Liberal Arts Digital Scholarship (ILiADS) steering committee.

  • Hamilton College was well represented among presenters at the recent New York State Health Association (NYSCHA) New England College Health Association (NECHA) 2023 Combined Annual Meeting in Albany. Six employees from the College, including five administrators and a faculty member, presented and co-presented six sessions across the three-day event.

  • Shannon Shannon, associate director of advancement promotion in the Career Center, was recently interviewed for the Handshake blog, as part of its Honor Roll. Handshake is the premier online recruiting platform for students, and Hamilton is one of the original partner schools.

  • Brenda Davis, associate director of Opportunity Programs, was recently awarded the Arthur O. Eve Human Relations Award at the Higher Education Opportunity Program Professional Organization (HEOP-PO) conference in Buffalo. This award is given to an individual who “champions the issues of inclusion, access, and success while making post-secondary opportunities available to historically underrepresented students through their efforts at their institution and through their advocacy at the state level.”

  • Library and Information Technology Services staff members recently presented at the EDUCAUSE Annual Conference 2023. The conference is a gathering of higher education professionals from around the world who gather to develop professionally, build networks, and share problems and solutions to challenges in higher education.

  • Associate Director of Student Accounts Cody Witherell has been selected by the National Association of College and University Business Officers (NACUBO) for the prestigious 2023–24 Emerging Leaders Program.
