John Forti

John Forti, an ethnobotanist and garden historian, will host a lecture titled “Edible Landscapes - For Health, Habitat, Families, and the Future” on Saturday, Nov. 16, at 10 a.m., in the Kennedy Auditorium. His discussion will focus on how to plant edible gardens that offer healthy alternatives to neighborhood lawns. The lecture is free and open to the public.

Forti is currently the executive director of Bedrock Gardens in New Hampshire. In the past, he has served as the director of horticulture to the Massachusetts Horticultural Society, the oldest agriculture institution in the United States.
