Ernest Williams, the William R. Kenan Professor of Biology Emeritus, wrote the foreword for Butterflies of Maine and the Canadian Maritime Provinces, a new book from Comstock Publishing Associates, an imprint of Cornell University Press.
Described by the publisher as an introduction to the more than 120 butterfly species found in the Acadian region, the book includes contributions from researchers and community scientists about habitat, behavior, threats, and more.
