Changjun

Changjun (Justin) Zhu ’19 has been awarded a tuition scholarship to study abroad in Rome, Italy, next semester. Zhu was selected from among a number of highly qualified candidates in a very competitive scholarship process to receive an API JCU (John Cabot University) Diversity scholarship for the full JCU tuition.

Zhu will study next spring at John Cabot University, a four-year American liberal arts college in Rome which attracts students from over 70 countries. He is a mathematics and sociology major at Hamilton.

Zhu is a networking associate for Hamilton’s Career Center, a grader for the Mathematics Department, and a student assistant for Hamilton’s Performing Arts.

He is secretary for the International Student Association, a member of Hamilton Autism Advocates for Neurodiversity (HAAND), and participated in Hamilton’s Levitt Leadership Institute. Last summer he served as an antitrust legal intern for King & Wood Mallesons in Beijing, China.

The API-JCU Diversity Scholarship was first awarded in 2010 and serves as a way of promoting and encouraging applicants from minority groups.

Awards are determined based on academic merit and financial need, and the awardee is granted a full tuition scholarship for a semester or summer session.
