Fourteen members of the Hamilton community gave talks at the lightning-talk conference hosted by the Global Digital Humanities on March 31. The group is funded by the CNY Humanities Corridor and includes Hamilton College, University of Rochester, and Hobart and William Smith Colleges.

Presenters from Hamilton included Jess Buttery, Emily Harrison, Anna Huff, Nadya Bair, Fran Cannon '23, Jesse Wexler '24, Kyoko Omori, Pavitra Sundar, Celeste Day Moore, S. Brent Rodriguez-Plate, Tyler Rodenberger, Michael McCormick, and Doug Higgins, who presented Khuslen (T) Tulga's '23 work.

The topics covered a wide range: “Devising Theatre Using Digital Technology,” “Performing Media Publics,” “Digital Approaches to Print Media,” “Developing the Benshi Silent Film Narrators in Japan Digital Archive,” “3D Technology: Building the Burke Library Model,” “Listen! Lessons from Co-Teaching Sound Studies,” “Launching, Editing, and Operating an Online Magazine,” “Unmanned Underwater Videogrammetry,” and “Future of Digital Scholarship in a World of Artificial Intelligence.”

This event was hosted by Hamilton’s Global DH group members: Nhora Serrano, Reid Larson, Lisa McFall, and Kyoko Omori.
