Opportunity Programs summer program students met with President Joan Hinde Stewart who welcomed them to campus on July 13. This event begins the personal relationship that the president works to have with all students.
Opportunity Program students complete a rigorous five-week summer program before matriculation in the fall. Students take nine academic courses, and are able to earn one full course credit and fulfill some graduation requirements.
This academic program has been in place at Hamilton for more than 45 years.
