The Hamilton College men's and women's indoor track & field teams competed in the non-team scoring, multi-divisional 2013 SUNY Brockport Early Season Invitational at the Special Events & Recreation Center on Dec. 7.

Joe Jensen '15 tied a school record and finished third in the 60-meter dash finals with a time of 7.13 seconds. Teammate Mbuotidem Isaac '15 posted the same time last season. Jensen also captured first place in the 300-meter dash with a facility-record time of 36.24 seconds. Will Tifft '14 took third place in the 35-pound weight throw with a distance of 14.83 meters (48 feet, 8 inches).
Hannah Jaiven '14, who played for the women's ice hockey team against Utica College on Friday night, set a program record in the pole vault and placed fourth with a height of 3.30 meters (10 feet, 10 inches). Rebecca Yaguda '09 had held the old record of 3.25 meters (10 feet, 8 inches) since 2009.
Yuwen Michelson '17 finished third in the long jump with a mark of 5.18 meters (17 feet, 0 inches) and was ninth out of 33 athletes in the 60 meters with a time of 8.49 seconds.
The teams are off for final exams and winter break until Saturday, Jan. 18, for the 2014 Colgate University Class of '32 Invitational.
