Maurice Isserman, the Publius Virgilius Rogers Professor of American History, is the author of an article on communism in a newly released book titled The Concise Princeton Encyclopedia of American Political History.

 

Edited by Michael Kazin and published by Princeton University Press, this single-volume reference is an abridged version of the two-volume Princeton Encyclopedia of American Political History published in 2010. It contains 150 articles about the most important topics in American history and politics written by more than 130 experts on subjects including economics, religion, social movements, race, class and gender.
