Shoshana Keller
Shoshana Keller,  the William R. Kenan Jr. Professor of History and director of the Russian studies program, participated in a webinar on tactics for teaching a new narrative of Russian history in the wake of the Ukrainian war on March 17.  It was hosted by the Harvard Davis Center and the University of Pittsburgh's Russian, East European, and Eurasian Studies Center.

The webinar was part of a six-part series called "Decolonization in Focus," and was streamed live. It can now be viewed here.

Keller has also started working on a podcast project, on the theme of introducing non-academics to the non-Russian peoples of the former empire. She is talking with people from the various nationalities and interspersing their conversations with local music. When it is complete, she will approach the national Slavic Studies Association and the American Historical Association to host the podcast and help get it out to teachers, journalists, diplomats, and more.
