Lisa McFall, director of digital initiatives, scholarship, and collaboration, was an invited speaker at Mercer University’s Tift College of Education in February. 

Her presentation, “Teaching Future Teachers in the Age of the Algorithm,” explored the ethical dimensions of AI and shared with education faculty key ethical considerations around AI, with an eye toward the awareness needed to prepare the next generation of teachers for a world that increasingly incorporates AI.

Johnson Professor of Teaching Excellence, recently presented his new research project, Why Teach Philosophy, at a conference at New Mexico State University organized by professor Mark Walker.
