Associate Professor of Religious Studies and American Studies Program Director Seth Schermerhorn recently published a special issue on “Movement and Indigenous Religions” in Material Religion: The Journal of Objects, Art, and Belief.
Co-edited with Meaghan Weatherdon at the University of San Diego, the volume includes a co-authored introduction from Schermerhorn and Weatherdon, an article by Schermerhorn, five other articles by both established and emerging scholars of indigenous peoples and religious traditions, and a response by Devaka Premawardhana at Emory University.
