The Music Department will present the home concert of the Hamilton College Choir’s Italian tour on Friday, March 31, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

Under the direction of G. Roberts Kolb, professor of music and director of choral music at Hamilton since 1981, the 64-member choir and College Hill singers will present a selection of both sacred and secular works.

Choir member Kate Brouns ’17 reported on the group’s travels. After performances in Rome, Florence and Ravenna, the final stop was Venice.

This concert is the home event of the annual March tour. This year the choir visited Italy for a 10-day tour which included singing at a  Mass in St. Peter’s Basilica in Rome, and performances  in Venice, Florence and Ravenna.
