
Director of Academic Technology, Teaching, and Research Services Nhora Serrano was recently elected to serve on the NorthEast Regional Computing Program (NERCOMP) Board of Trustees. Her work as a board member will begin at the organization’s April board meeting.
According to the NERCOMP website, trustees “are involved with technology and professional development at their respective institutions, and they work together on the NERCOMP Board to develop programming that provides opportunities for continued learning and innovation in the fields of information technology and higher education.”
NERCOMP, established in 1956, is a nonprofit professional society for university and collegiate information technology professionals. The organization’s mission is to advance innovation and leadership in educational institutions in the northeastern United States.
