Jane Springer, the James L. Ferguson Professor of Literature and Creative Writing, recently visited Amherst College where she read from and discussed her work.
Springer, the author of three award-winning poetry collections, has received fellowships from the National Endowment for the Arts, the MacDowell Artists’ Residency, and the Whiting Foundation.
Her current project is a hybrid collection of essays and poems on the evolution of fire.
