Five Hamilton students who spent the summer working in science-related internships had the opportunity to share information on their experiences in the first event in a new Career Center series on Sept. 24.
Students who presented included: Jeremy Adelman ’13, a physics major who interned as a data analyst on VIRGO Gravitational Wave Search Team at University La Sapienzie in Rome, Italy; Lennox Chitsike ’13, a biochemistry major who was a summer intern at Novozymes, Raleigh-Durham Research Triangle, N.C.; biology major Agne Jakubauskaite ’13, a research fellow at Harvard Stem Cell Institute (HSCI) Internship Program in Boston; Chris Richardson ’14, a chemistry major who was a summer intern at the University of California, Irvine, chemistry lab; and Alex Thompson ’13, a chemistry major who was a summer intern at Genentech Medicinal Chemistry Department in San Francisco.
Upcoming lunches in the Career Center series will focus on Geosciences and Environmental Internships, Public Health Internships and Education Internships.
