Nhora Lucía Serrano.
EDUCAUSE has invited Nhora Serrano, associate director for digital innovation, learning & research, to serve a three-year term as a member of its Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Advisory Committee. EDUCAUSE  is the largest community of technology, academic, industry, and campus leaders advancing higher education through the use of IT.

As a committee member, Serrano will help to provide recommendations and counsel to help advance DEI at EDUCAUSE member institutions. The committee performs two major functions:  Advise organization leadership on DEI matters in association strategy and programming,  and serve as the voice of  EDUCAUSE membership on DEI matters.

“Your knowledge, perspective, and experiences can help EDUCAUSE foster more inclusive and equitable organizations and teams,” wrote president John O’Brien in his invitation letter.  “You and your institution will also be making a significant contribution to the profession.”

EDUCAUSE has featured Hamilton LITS staff members, including Serrano, at its conferences over the years.
