The Hamilton College women's squash team defeated the Colby College Mules 7-2 while the Colby men posted a 9-0 victory against Hamilton at Williams College on Sunday afternoon.

The Hamilton women -- ranked 17th by the College Squash Association -- improved their record to 3-2 and No. 22 Colby dipped to 3-3. On the men's side, No. 24 Hamilton slipped to 2-3 and No. 23 Colby moved to 4-1.
Elizabeth Morris '15 (13-11, 11-3, 11-2) and Rafiatou Ouro-Aguy '18 (11-9, 11-1, 11-4) triumphed in three games at the third and sixth positions, respectively. Isabelle Weisman '15 dropped the first two games in her fifth-position match but rallied to win the last three (9-11, 10-12, 12-10, 11-9, 11-7).
Four Hamilton women won their matches in four games. Rachel Newman '16 (10-12, 11-6, 12-10, 11-5) prevailed at the second position, Lindsay Arader '16 (8-11, 11-9, 11-7, 11-5) won at the fourth position, Haley Connor '18 (7-11, 11-6, 11-2, 11-6) did the same at the seventh position and Grace Munschauer '18 (8-11, 11-4, 11-5, 11-6) picked up a win in her first collegiate match.
The Hamilton women travel to Mount Holyoke College on Friday, Jan. 16, and then play Connecticut College at Amherst College later that evening. The Hamilton men take on Stanford at Mount Holyoke and then Conn. College at Amherst on Friday as well.
