Three Hamilton College men's soccer players were honored by the Eastern College Athletic Conference on Dec. 21 when the conference announced its 2010 Division III Metro/Upstate region all-star team.

Frank Campagnano '12 (Guilderland, N.Y./Guilderland HS) and Jesse Arroyave '11 (North Bergen, N.J./Masters School [N.Y.]) were two of 13 players voted to the all-star team by the region's coaches. Leo Nizzi '14 (Frankfort, N.Y./Frankfort-Schuyler HS) was selected rookie of the year.

Campagnano enjoyed his best season with the Continentals as he scored 10 goals and added six assists for 26 points in 15 games. The midfielder tied for the Liberty League lead in goals, ranked second in points and tied for fourth in assists. He made the all-league and National Soccer Coaches Association of America East Region all-region first teams.

Arroyave scored two goals and added three assists in 15 games this year from his midfield position. He finished his Hamilton career with 14 goals and seven assists for 35 points. He made the all-league and National Soccer Coaches Association of America East Region all-region first teams.

Nizzi set a team record with eight assists this year from his midfield position. He led the league with 0.53 assists per game, and played in all 15 games this year. He was also named the Liberty League's rookie of the year.

The Continentals posted an overall record of 9-3-3 and finished fourth in the league with 13 points at 4-2-1. Hamilton lost 3-2 in double overtime in the semifinals of the league tournament at top seed St. Lawrence University on Nov. 3.
