Hamilton’s men’s and women’s golf teams volunteered with Rise Against Hunger on Sept. 28 at Clinton High School. They participated with other members of the community in packing over 47,000 meals to be sent overseas. The event was sponsored by the Clinton United Methodist Church.
Rise Against Hunger is an international hunger relief organization that distributes food and life-changing aid to the world’s most vulnerable, mobilizing the necessary resources to end hunger by 2030.
The United Methodist Church has been a leader in collecting funding and having volunteers at the meal-packing event.
