Hamilton College President David Wippman served as a panelist as part of the Harvard Seminar for New Presidents on July 9. The six-day institute provides a practical orientation to college presidency, familiarizing new presidents with the opportunities and hazards they will likely face and preparing them to respond to the multiple responsibilities that await in their new roles, according to the Harvard website.
Wippman has also joined the board of The Annapolis Group, a national forum for liberal arts institutions to share best practices, creative ideas, and advance innovations in learning. Member institutions are committed to providing the best learning environment for students to gain the skills, knowledge, and abilities to succeed in a rapidly evolving world.
