Hamilton (12-5 overall) makes its ninth NCAA appearance and it's the program's first since 2015. The Continentals are 14-7 all-time in the event with a national title in 2008, a semifinal appearance in 2009 and a runner-up finish in 2010. Hamilton tied for first place in the NESCAC standings with an 8-2 conference record during the regular season. The Continentals defeated Bowdoin College in a NESCAC quarterfinal and advanced to the semifinals for the third time in six years.
Regis (15-4) went 8-0 in the New England Collegiate Conference (NECC) during the regular season and earned an automatic bid to the NCAA championship by winning the conference tournament. The Pride edged Elms College 15-13 in the NECC final on May 6.
Salisbury (13-5) posted a 7-1 record and finished second in the Capital Athletic Conference (CAC) regular season standings. The Sea Gulls defeated conference regular season champion York (Pa.) College 7-2 in the CAC final on April 29 and earned the conference's automatic NCAA bid.
