Italian, feminist, disability studies scholar Dr. Gina Mangravite (Scripps College) presents Radical Creativity: A Feminist Aesthetics of Disability in Elena Ferrante’s My Brilliant Friend from Smarginatura to Ferrante Fever. The Hamilton Outing Club is once again proud to host the Banff Centre Mountain Film Festival, a program of the Banff Centre featuring mountain, adventure, and cultural films from independent film makers around the world. Tickets are available at the door.
Ticket prices are $20 for adults, $10 for senior citizens, $5 for children under 12. We accept cash and check. Admission is free with a HillCard. Doors open at 6:30 pm. Giorgio Riello is Chair of Early Modern Global History. He joined the Department of History and Civilization in 2019 moving from the University of Warwick where he was Professor of Global History and Culture. At Warwick he was the Director of the Institute of Advanced Study. Giorgio has published extensively on the economic and material culture history of trade and consumption in early modern Asia and Europe.
