Making Appointments

  1. Log into TracCloudYou can book up to 30 days and no less than 2 hours in advance. If you'd like to make a last-minute appointment, email us at wcpapers@hamilton.edu and we will try to accommodate you.
  2. Choose your class. You can also select other options not for a class, like scholarship essay or personal statement.
  3. Choose the language that you're writing in. If you are looking for help developing your English language writing skills, select "Multilingual Support" in the "choose a service/reason" drop-down menu.
  4. Click Search. This will pull up all available Writing Center appointments that meet your needs.
  5. Click on the time that you want to book. You will then be asked additional questions to help us prepare for your conference.
  6. Answer all additional questions about your appointment.
  7. Click “save.” You should now see the appointment on the homepage and also have an email confirmation.

Note: Excessive last-minute cancellations or missed appointments may affect your ability to book future appointments.

My tutor was amazing. She listened to my questions and helped make suggestions about where I could add information, explain more, and tighten prose. She was critical without criticizing, clearly explained concerns, and then gave her suggestions.
