Maurice Horowitch Career Center Staff
Melissa has twenty years of experience in higher education and career development. She majored in American studies at Mount Holyoke College. and received her M.A. in museum studies from SUNY Oneonta.
Abby leads the employer engagement team and oversees the office’s outreach and promotions, summer internship funding program, and general office operations. She graduated from William Smith College and earned her M.F.A. from Antioch University. She is a member of the Student Emergency Aid Society (SEAS) Advisory Board.
Cheney Cronin
Assistant Director, Employer Engagement and Health Professions Advising
Cheney oversees all on-campus recruiting and employer visits. As part of the Health Professions Advising Office she is a main point of contact for experiential learning aspects for pre-health students. She received a. B.A. in sociology from SUNY Albany. Employers can contact Cheney to set up on-campus visits.
Jessica joined Hamilton in 2024 and oversees the promotion of career-related programming, ensuring students stay informed and engaged with career development opportunities. She also manages the administration of the summer internship funding program. Jessica earned a B.A. in Journalism from SUNY Oswego.
Kathy joined the Career Center in 2025 after a 40 year career in healthcare. She welcomes Career Center guests, assists students as needed and keeps the office running smoothly. She has a B.S. in Business, Management and Economics from SUNY Empire State College.
Victoria has a B.S.W. in social work and a minor in psychology from SUNY Brockport, where she also earned a M.S. in Education in Counselor Education with a concentration in College Counseling. At Hamilton College, Victoria oversees the Joan Hinde Stewart (JHS) Career Development Program.
Korrin leads the internship program, which employs 60-80 student interns across five teams within the career center. In this role, she oversees the Peer Coaching team, a group who offer appointments and programs on career development.
John received his B.A. in mathematics from Syracuse University (Utica College), a M.S. in applied sociology from SUNY PoIy, and a M.S.W. from Portland State University. His career bridges the fields of social work and higher education, with a focus on educational opportunity programs and mental health.
Amy is a 2008 Hamilton graduate and brings nearly two decades of experience working in sales, marketing, and advertising for a number of regional and global firms. She now returns to the Hill as a Career Coach, working with a cohort of students to help launch their career opportunities.
Sarah has a B.A. and M.A. in psychology from Marist College. Her background includes experience in Student Affairs, Adjunct Instruction, Corporate & Community Education, and Advancement divisions.
Rachel supports the Career Communities teams in their development of programming and resources for eight industry groups. She earned her B.A. in sociology from the SUNY Institute of Technology and her Master of Public Health from SUNY Upstate Medical University/Syracuse University.
