Education & Social Impact Events
Event Description
Interested in launching your career in education, leadership, and social impact after graduation? Join Emily Blagg a Teach For America alum, for a casual 1:1 coffee chat on Hamilton's campus! Our programs are open to ALL majors.
Format: 15-minute individual coffee chats
Please note: These coffee chats are specifically intended for seniors and graduating students interested in applying to the Teach For America Corps. If you're an underclassman interested in learning more about opportunities with Teach For America, including the Ignite Fellowship (paid virtual tutoring and leadership experience), we encourage you to stop by our table later in the day.
Whether you're actively applying to Teach For America or just exploring your options, we're happy to answer questions about:
The Teach For America Corps and what it's like to teach full-time after graduation
The application and interview process
Regional placement and subject preferences
Training, support, and professional development
Life as a corps member and alumni pathways
Any questions you have about pursuing a career in education
These are informal, low-stakes conversations designed to help you learn more, get personalized advice, and determine whether Teach For America might be a good fit for your goals.
