O positive and proud of it.
Linda Lacelle, a systems analyst and administrator in Information Technology Services, rarely misses a Hamilton Blood Drive, and today’s effort, sponsored by the Psi Upsilon fraternity, is no exception. Lacelle began giving blood years ago when her mother was fighting cancer and needed blood during her chemo treatments. “The idea of blood not being available sent chills up and down my spine,” she says. She’s not alone in her commitment; Dave Thompson, who as director of campus wellness coordinates blood drives, has been “told by the local Red Cross folks that no other local college can match our numbers when it comes to participation levels.”
