  • President Joan Hinde Stewart has announced her plan to retire on June 30, 2016, after 13 years leading the liberal arts college. Stewart informed members of the Hamilton Board of Trustees during their quarterly meeting Friday in New York City. When she concludes her presidency in 18 months, Stewart will be the eighth longest serving president in the College’s 200-year history.
