The spring F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series will present Charles Burnett’s Killer of Sheep (1977) on Sunday, Feb. 21. All F.I.L.M. series events are on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the Bradford Auditorium in the Kirner-Johnson Building and are free and open to the public.

The F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series presents William Greaves’ Symbiopsychotaxiplasm: Take One (1972) on Sunday, Feb. 14, at 2 p.m. in the Bradford Auditorium, Kirner-Johnson Building. All F.I.L.M. events are free and open to the public.

The spring F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series continues on Sunday, Feb. 7, with Portrait of Jason (1967), directed by Shirley Clarke and starring Jason Holliday (née Aaron Payne).

The F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series opens Sunday, Jan. 31, with Nothing But a Man (1964), directed by Michael Roemer. The theme of the spring series is “In Focus: African-Americans in Film: Rarely Screened Landmarks.”

The fall 2015 F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series concludes on Sunday, Dec. 6, at 2 p.m., when filmmaker Bill Morrison presents The Great Flood (2013). The screening takes place in the Kirner-Johnson Building’s Bradford Auditorium and is free and open to the public.

The F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series will host Sarah Christman, a cine-philosopher-poet of the environment whose fascination is transmutation, on Sunday, Nov. 15, at 2 p.m., in the Bradford Auditorium, KJ. All F.I.L.M. events are free and open to the public.

Filmmaker Pawel Wojtasik returns to the F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series on Sunday, Nov. 1, to present Single Stream (2013) and other films. F.I.L.M. screenings are scheduled on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the Kirner-Johnson Building’s Bradford Auditorium and are free and open to the public.

Visiting Professor of Art History Scott MacDonald presented “Binghamton Babylon: Voices from the Cinema Department, 1967-1977” on Oct. 21 at Binghamton University as part of the Harpur College Dean’s Speakers Series.

The fall F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series continues on Sunday, Oct. 25, when animator Stacey Steers presents Night Hunter (2011) and other films. This and all F.I.L.M. screenings are scheduled on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the Bradford Auditorium in the Kirner-Johnson Building. All events are free and open to the public.

The fall F.I.L.M. (Forum on Image and Language in Motion) series starts Sunday, Sept. 27, as the Alloy Orchestra provides live accompaniment for The Man with a Movie Camera (1929). All F.I.L.M. screenings are on Sunday afternoons at 2 p.m. in the Bradford Auditorium in the Kirner-Johnson Building and are free and open to the public.
