  • The Hamilton College Performing Arts Series opens its spring series with Enso String Quartet on Saturday, Jan. 26, at 8 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts. The program will include Mozart’s String Quartet No. 2 in D Major, Henri Dutilleux’s String Quartet, Ainsi la nuit, and Beethoven’s String Quartet No. 14 in C# minor, Op. 131.

  • Hamilton’s latest major building project is well under way with the construction of the theatre and studio arts building progressing on schedule. Bill Huggins, associate director of Physical Plant, says the project is on track to be finished in July, 2014. When complete the $46.8 million complex will encompass 81,000 square feet.
