The Hamilton College Performing Arts Series closes the spring series with Yarn/Wire on Friday, April 7, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. The concert will include the premiere of “When All Else Fails” written for the group by Hamilton College’s Visiting Assistant Professor of Music Ryan Carter.

Hamilton College Performing Arts Series continues the spring series with two performances by The Acting Company in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center. X: Or, Betty Shabazz v. The Nation, will be performed on Saturday, April 1, at 7:30 p.m and William Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar on Sunday, April 2, at 2 p,m.

Hamilton students are heading back to campus with tales about their spring break adventures. But there’s no time for a post spring break letdown because college calendar is loaded with lectures, performances and events from now until the end of the semester.

Hamilton's Department of Dance and Movement Studies will present its annual Spring Dance Concert on Friday, March 3, and Saturday, March 4, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and Performing Arts. The performance will feature Hamilton student dancers and choreography by Hamilton faculty Sandra Stanton-Cotter and Paris Wilcox in addition to guest choreographers Chuyun Oh, David Fernandez, and Catherine Wright.

The Hamilton College Department of Music presents the 2017 Choir Musical, Pirates of Penzance, on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 3 and 4, at 7:30 p.m., and Sunday, Feb. 5, at 2 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

The Hamilton College and Community Masterworks Chorale with members of Symphoria will perform Bach’s Mass in B Minor on Tuesday, Nov. 29, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center for Music and the Performing Arts.

When the critically acclaimed modern dance company H.T. Chen & Dancers performed at Hamilton on Nov. 5 some members of the troupe probably looked familiar. Five Hamilton student dancers joined the company in their original performance, which combines traditional Chinese music and Deep South blues to tell the story of immigration and civil rights through a fusion of two cultural styles of dance.
