  • Hamilton College Performing Arts continues the fall series with the early music group Pallade Musica on Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m., in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center.

Performances will continue Friday, Nov. 6 – Saturday, Nov. 7, at 7:30 p.m., and Wednesday, Nov. 11 – Saturday, Nov. 14, at 7:30 p.m. There is a matinee performance on Saturday, Nov. 7, at 2 p.m. All performances will take place in the new state-of-the-art Romano Theatre within the Kennedy Center for Theatre and the Studio Arts.

Haimovitz comes to Hamilton with a unique concert-going experience – a moveable feast of Bach’s Suites for Unaccompanied Cello. Written by Director of the Fillius Jazz Archive Monk Rowe, the book includes interviews with Dave Brubeck, Steve Allen, Marian McPartland, Joe Williams, Bela Fleck, among many others, as well as with former members of bands led by Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Woody Herman, Artie Shaw, Benny Goodman and Stan Kenton. 

  • The Hamilton College Departments of Music and Dance and Movement Studies will offer a full schedule of free performances in Wellin Hall, Schambach Center during the College’s Family Weekend, Friday, Oct. 23 and Saturday, Oct. 24.
