Herb Hand ’90 recently joined the University of Texas football coaching staff as their new co-offensive coordinator and offensive line coach. Former Hamilton College football star Hand, a Westmoreland, N.Y. native and a veteran offensive line coach, has helped coordinate numerous dynamic offenses in his 27 years of coaching.

A lecture by University of Southern California professor William Morgan, titled “Lance Armstrong: Why There Are No Winners in the Doping Wars in Sport,” originally scheduled for Thursday, April 18, at 7:30 p.m., has been cancelled. Bad weather in the Midwest has forced multiple flight cancellations. The lecture will not be rescheduled this semester.

Scott Kretchmar, professor of exercise and sport science at Penn State University, will present a lecture, "Explaining Fascination With Sport: The High, The Low, and The in Between,” on Wednesday, April 21, at 8 p.m., in the Science Center's Kennedy Auditorium. The talk is free and open to the public.
