Communications Office writer Evan Robinson ’23 recently spoke with Koboul E. Mansour, the new director of the Days-Massolo Center, about her career and vision for the future. Below are some excerpts from their conversation.

In an email to the Hamilton community on Sept. 12, Vice President for Academic Affairs and Dean of Faculty Ngonidzashe Munemo announced the passing of Professor of Mathematics and Statistics Emeritus Larry Knop P’04.

Forty-two new faculty members are joining Hamilton’s ranks, including 11 tenure-track professors in anthropology, computer science, economics, environmental studies, geosciences, physics, and sociology in addition to visiting professors, lecturers, and teaching fellows.

For Madeline Pittel ’24, interning at Sotheby’s has been a longstanding dream. In high school, she would walk by the auction house’s large New York office en route to a job elsewhere, all the while thinking, “I want to work there one day, and I’m going to wait for my junior year college internship. So this is a five- or six-year plan-in-the-making.”
