On the morning of Nov. 18, Hamilton in France students embarked on a train leaving Paris for Alsace, Strasbourg, located in the eastern part of the country.

More than 20 student members of BLSU recently participated in the first-ever BLSU Day of Service, organized by the COOP as a collaborative effort between the two organizations. Half of the service group volunteered at the Veteran's Outreach Center and the other half at the Rescue Mission, both nonprofit organizations in the local Utica community.

Clark Callahan P’18, managing director of executive education custom programs at Harvard Business School recently spoke to students from two Government courses. Callahan’s talk focused on his experiences in Russia in the early 1990s working for a program whose mission was to support Russia’s transition to a market economy by training entrepreneurs and teaching the basics of how to run a business.

The basement of the Sadove Student Center has just gotten a long-awaited facelift. An opening right before break showed off renovations that will provide Hamilton students with a place where they can study, play games, attend club meetings, watch performances or just relax.

Director of the Oral Communication Center Amy Gaffney and Visiting Assistant Professor of Communication Tim Recuber represented Hamilton at the 103rd Annual National Communication Association conference.

In an email on Nov. 21, Interim Dean of Faculty Margaret Gentry notified the Hamilton community of the death of Eugene Domack, the J. W. Johnson Family Professor of Environmental Studies emeritus.
