Emad Kiyaei, executive director of the non-partisan and non-profit American Iranian Council, visited Hamilton on Oct. 5 to speak on the recent geopolitical history between the United States and the Islamic Republic of Iran, and that history’s significance with regard to the upcoming U.S. presidential election.

John McEnroe, the John and Anne Fischer Professor of Fine Art, recently presented a lecture on his work in the Bronze Age town of Gournia, Crete, at the 12th International Congress of Cretan Studies.

The Hamilton Chapter of Phi Beta Kappa is pleased to announce the election of the following eight members of the class of 2017: Ryan Cassidy, Daniel Farina, Bryan Ferguson, Lindsay Heyer, Truman Landowski, Neema Lema, Rui Osaka and Aida Shadrav. Phi Beta Kappa, the oldest academic honorary society in the United States, honors students for both excellence in academic achievement and breadth of intellectual study.
