Assistant Professor of Environmental Studies Aaron Strong recently published two articles with Hamilton alumna co-authors.

Hanna Pierce ’20 and Strong published an article, “An evaluation of New York State livestock carbon offset projects under California’s cap and trade program” in the journal Carbon Management. Katie Tanner ’23 and Strong published, “Assessing the impact of future sea level rise on blue carbon ecosystem services on Long Island, New York” in the journal Sustainability.

Recently, Claire Williams '25 had the opportunity to spend time with two of the leading scientists in climate research: Hamilton alumnus Jonathan Overpeck ’79, the dean of the School of Environment and Sustainability at the University of Michigan, and Julia Cole, a professor of earth and environmental sciences there.
